PREMISES
The Persa Víctor Manuel currently has around one thousand shops offering a wide variety of goods and unique items. All the shops are divided into different categories, such as books, antiques, art, video games, textiles, second-hand goods, among others. Its shopkeepers are the soul of this place — many of them have spent years in their stores, collecting and restoring unmatched relics and objects, true treasures.
Many of these objects take us back to the past, and can only be found here, in this historic venue popularly known as “The Antiques Warehouse.”
TENANTS
Some of the shopkeepers are recognized by the public for their distinctive clothing and the long history they have here. Among them are “El Mexicano” (The Mexican), “El Cachurero” (The Junk Collector), “La Señora de las Lámparas” (The Lady of the Lamps), “El Cineasta” (The Filmmaker), among others. If you want to learn more about these iconic shopkeepers, you can find it in the book “Retratos del Persa Víctor Manuel” (Portraits of the Persa Víctor Manuel), available at the La Curtiembre Gallery.
