The mural “Internet,” better known as the “Sistine Chapel” of the Persa Víctor Manuel, was created by the artist Basco Vazko in 2017. It is located on the ceiling of Galpón 1 of the Persa Víctor Manuel, painted across a vaulted dome of 700 m². The mural’s iconography is connected to Basco Vazko’s graphic imagination, inspired by collages and graffiti. It portrays today’s reality of the Internet and the overwhelming flow of information in the virtual world. It is characterized by abstract figures and humanoid bodies mixed with representations of old bronze weights, furniture, and objects that can be found at the Persa.
